ABOUT THE DOG & PARTRIDGE
Situated on the old medieval salt way route, this isolated inn has a history that can be traced back to the Elizabethan period, supplying shelter and refreshments for travellers crossing the hostile moors of the Pennines.
Enjoy a range of locally sources hand-pulled cask beers sourced from Acorn, Abbeydale and Bradfield breweries whilst sat in front of an open log fire, with traditional oak beams and nostalgic photographs that gives the bar a warm feeling of days gone by….
Traditional Pub
The main bar area and small snug is situated in the original part of the inn dating back to the early 17th century, offers comfortable seating, whether you are out enjoying a drink or participating in the daily menu.
Families are welcome in these areas; however, we do ask that children remain seated.
Please don’t forget your four-legged friend and dogs bowls are available.
