Richard, our head chef/proprietor, is supported in the kitchen by Maks and Lena. We have strong training and development ethos and partner with Barnsley College to provide apprentice programs.
Food is served throughout the bar and in a small dining room, The Beaters Restaurant. The daily menu features traditional country cooking, with a weekly special of fish, meat, pasta, desserts, and game when in season.
Dishes can be adapted to cater for all dietary requirements. We endeavour to source seasonal produce to maintain high standards of quality and consistency. We believe that this is achieved by using local suppliers.
Sunday roasts are popular, serving from 12 until 3 pm, and bookings are advisable throughout the weekend.
